What I'm doing now.
A living page about where my attention actually is — not a biography, not a pitch. Inspired by nownownow.com.

Building
- Leading LYNOOK day to day — bringing our 3D character software and AI interaction together into one coherent, everyday experience inside the physical device.
- Iterating on the companion prototype: how a character can feel present between interactions, instead of only answering when summoned.
- Turning the prototype shown around BEYOND Expo 2026 into the next, more complete build.
Focused on
- Presence-first interaction — company on your terms, with no stream of notifications demanding attention.
- Privacy and offline capability: a companion whose memory can live on the device and stays awake even when the connection doesn't.
- The hard, unglamorous questions: continuity of identity, long-term memory, and what a character does while you're away.
Learning & reading
- On-device inference and what it takes to keep an AI character responsive without the cloud.
- The history of virtual pets and ambient characters — what early devices got right about presence that modern apps lost.
- Hardware craft: materials, light, and the small physical details that make an object feel like it belongs in a room.
Not doing
- Not optimizing for engagement metrics or endless screen time.
- Not announcing features before they exist in a build we can put in someone's hands.
