From research to a presence you can share a room with.
The short version of how I got here — and why every step was, in hindsight, about the same question.
- Wuhan University
Software engineering, first principles
Studied software engineering at Wuhan University, building the engineering base that would later carry me into AI research.
- Tencent AI Lab
AI research scientist
Joined Tencent AI Lab as a research scientist, working on machine intelligence and the systems that make characters respond, understand, and feel alive.
- Huya (NYSE: HUYA)
Real-time characters and VTuber technology
Built virtual YouTuber technology at Huya, taking characters out of offline rendering and into live, real-time performance.
This is where I learned the difference between a character that exists in a video and one that exists in the room, in the moment, with an audience watching.
- XVERSE
Leading virtual humans
Led animation and virtual human work at XVERSE, pushing digital people toward more believable motion, expression, and presence at scale.
- 2025 — present
Founding LYNOOK
All of the above kept pointing at the same question: why does an AI character still feel like software you open and close? What would it take for it to have a place instead of an interface?
I founded LYNOOK to answer that physically — bringing hardware, 3D character systems, and AI interaction together into one quiet companion object.
- 2026
BEYOND Expo & a prototype in the world
LYNOOK was presented by InnoX Shenzhen among its AI + hardware startups at BEYOND Expo 2026 — an independent, verifiable moment for the prototype and the company.
